project summary
This is a mobile game in the genre of a puzzle, Sudoku subgenre that works according to classic sudoku rules. It has more than 1000 levels to complete. The game is free and can work offline.
THE TASK
To go through the full development cycle of a mobile game: from prototyping, interfaces, design, and development of software code with Unity, to publishing in stores and improving the consumer properties of the game with subsequent updates.
SOLUTION
We chose the Unity engine because we already had C# developers in our staff. This enabled us to employ people from the team and not to look for new personnel. The genre of the game allows the use of simple graphics along with complex calculations in the level generator, which speeds up development and employs mainly C# developers.
Prototyping the game we looked at our competitors, but did not intend to create a large game loaded with daily contests, which of course would affect the retention rate not in the best direction. But the development of the game and its changes in the future was planned in advance.
The game has just been published and undergoes testing by the advertising channels, CPI and LTV.
