The client entered the North American market with a spec for LocalPro.online — a platform linking homeowners to contractors from fencing to cleaning. The homeowner picks a job category, sees pros on a map and sends quote requests to several contractors; each replies with a professional estimate without long email threads.
The region required imperial units, US formats, time zones, crew scheduling and project accounting. One contractor often covers multiple trades and must assemble multi-phase quotes — from footing concrete to gates — without spreadsheets and manual PDFs.
ESK Solutions designed a fullstack service with a public homeowner flow and a rich contractor cabinet: five calculation templates, a drag-and-drop calendar, Payments control and Financial Results, Stripe and Google Maps. Delivery took just over three months from architecture to AWS deployment.
PHP (Laravel) and MySQL hold profiles, rates, job templates and transactions; the public Vue.js front end keeps search and order cards reactive. Google Maps Platform handles geocoding and radius; Stripe collects payment after estimate acceptance and feeds reports.
The hardest parts are the estimate calculator and calendar sync: per-template formulas, discounts and tax, availability checks for each worker including travel time. Admins moderate companies and the job catalog; homeowner, contractor and administrator roles stay separated.
Delivery ran in two-week sprints: map and RFQ prototype, contractor cabinet, calendar and reports, usability tests with a focus group and load runs before launching LocalPro.online on AWS with autoscaling.
LocalPro.online reached the North American market as a finished product: homeowners find pros on the map and compare estimates; contractors manage rates, schedules and finance in one cabinet without scattered spreadsheets, manual quote PDFs or developer edits on the site.
Estimate templates and the crew calendar cut manual work and speed RFQ replies. Imperial units, English UI, contractor 2FA and backups match the region; Stripe and Payments control shorten the path from request to payment and highlight overdue balances.
The AWS platform survives seasonal renovation peaks — the client got a product we evolve under the same fixed-price and support model as other ESK SaaS builds, from map and RFQ to the contractor cabinet with PDF quotes and financial summaries.
