Why we built Tsirulnik booking

The Tsirulnik federal chain hit the limits of phone booking: admins were overloaded, schedules drifted and every new city duplicated manual work. Clients needed self-service appointments; the owner needed one view of branches, ratings and stylist utilization.

Geography mattered: visitors must pick a branch on a map by services, while the network adds locations without rewriting core code. Orders had to flow into 1C for reporting and payroll, with SMS confirmations to cut no-shows.

We built a Yii2 web hub between clients, salon admins and the network owner: modular salons and services, server-side slot checks against double booking and role boundaries so local staff never see another branch’s data while the owner steers the chain from one cabinet.

Key capabilities

01
Map salon pick
Geo search and service filters let clients compare nearby branches, ratings and stylist load before booking without calling reception.
02
Guided booking
Service, stylist, date and time with server-side slot checks — double bookings are blocked under parallel demand across cities.
03
SMS confirmation
Primary and fallback SMS gateways confirm reservations instantly and remind an hour before the visit, cutting no-shows without admin calls.
04
Client account
Visit history, rebook a favorite stylist, ratings and post-service reviews — loyalty tools that lift repeat visits and average ticket.
05
Salon cabinets
Salons manage services, schedules and review replies; the owner sees network-wide stats on bookings, ratings and staff utilization.
06
1C sync
REST API syncs orders and schedules with ERP: bookings land in reporting automatically, with error logs for fast IT diagnosis.

How it works

Yii2 and MySQL split salons, services, schedules and orders into modules — a new branch is a database row plus hours setup, not a code deploy. Bootstrap UI stays mobile-friendly where most bookings originate.

The hardest part was one service taxonomy: the same label meant different work in different cities. We audited price lists, interviewed managers and defined criteria — e.g., women’s cut by length and complexity — so clients compare fairly and network analytics stay comparable.

Two-way 1C sync and load tests with dozens of parallel bookings finished the cycle before marketing launch on online.cirulnick.ru. Architecture already exposes extension points for future card or wallet payments without rewriting the core.

What we delivered

In pilot regions the online service replaced phone booking: about sixty percent of visits are scheduled on the site without reception help. Schedules are cleaner — double bookings and typical manual journal mistakes disappeared across branches.

SMS reminders and a usable account raised loyalty: rebooking through visit history lifted repeat ticket size by roughly fifteen percent versus phone-only booking. The owner gained transparent analytics on branches and stylists from reviews, ratings and utilization.

Onboarding a new salon takes about an hour — vital for a fast-growing federal chain. The product joined Tsirulnik marketing and stays live at online.cirulnick.ru, with hooks ready for card or wallet payments without rewriting the Yii2 core.
